Artist Bio
Growing up on a large acreage of land in the Western New York area aided in an intrinsic connection to landscape. Gina explores the relationship between painting and sculpture dealing with constructed landscape, process painting, and wooden surfaces. Sculpture has really opened up the possibilities for how a painting exists blending family ties to fabrication and attraction to layering, repetition, and color. Painting has been the avenue to navigate life, while exploring how sculpture can have the potential to amplify the work.
Now, working and living in the Adirondack region, the vibrant landscape is ever fruitful of inspiration. Gina’s multi disciplined approach to art will continue to expand and flourish!
